In Film & Television International (WIFTI) is a network of
37 Women In Film organisations, globally representing around 10,000
members!
Remember if you are a WIFT
NSW member you are also a member of WIFTI*. Direct benefits of WIFTI

WIFTI Grants
Apply to the WIFTI Devorah Foundation, the NYWIFT Film Preservation
Fund, and the WIF LA Film Finishing Fund!
International Short
Film Festivals
Opportunity to submit your films to WIFT supported festivals. For
example, NYWIFT’s To the Point at the Hamptons’ International
Film Festival, WIF Dallas Annual Chick Flicks Festival, and the WIFTI
Short Film Showcase presented on International Women’s Day around
the globe.
Biennial Summits
A unique opportunity for members from all over the globe to network,
attend professional development sessions and share ideas on development
& co-production options. Past WIFTI Summits have been held in
New York, Los Angeles, London, Jamaica, New Zealand and Toronto.
WIFTI Networking
Events
Attend networking receptions at international film festivals and TV
markets. Past events have included the Cannes International Film Festival,
the Toronto International Film Festival, the BANFF International Television
Market, and the Sundance International Film Festival.
Visiting Members
Program
Members planning to visit or work in another country with a participating
WIFT organisation are eligible to attend activities there for a 3-month
period.
International Professional
Development Programs
Past programs have included: online professional development classes
such as the Screenwriting Masterclass with Linda Aronson and Producing
in Latin America; and professional tours of China and Cuba.
Organisational
Benefits
Participating WIFT organisations also have: access to regional development
& international event grants; opportunities to host WIFTI events
such as the WIFT International Summit (including the WIFTI International
Achievement Awards) and the WIFTI Gala (including the WIFTI Humanitarian
Award); access to information & expertise on organisational matters
such as fundraising, communication strategies, and membership development;
plus the opportunity to sit on the WIFT International Board.
